The IEEW is a free service of the Idaho Association of School Administrators and the Idaho Department of Education designed to assist educational entities across the state in attracting high quality professionals to the field.

Posting Jobs

(1) What is the purpose behind the IEEW?
The IEEW is designed to be the one-stop recruitment source for educational staff in Idaho. The site is designed to provide comprehensive recruitment services to students, teachers and fellow professionals across not only Idaho, but the world.

(2) How do I post a job?
Posting a job on the IEEW is simple, fast and easy! 
(a) Go to the homepage (www.idahoeducationjobs.com) and click on the Post a Job button displayed there. 

(b) A map of the State of Idaho should appear split into regions. Find the region that corresponds to the location of your educational entity. 

(c) Simply click on "Post Job" link in the second paragraph, which will take you to the screen used for posting your job information. Guide your mouse to the box and type in all information right on the screen. Double check the information you have typed and hit the "Submit" button when you are ready to post the information. That is it!

(3) What types of jobs can be posted?
The IEEW is home for recruitment of all professional education positions. 
Vacancies will be accepted for:
* All Educationally Certified Staff in Idaho, accredited public and non-public schools, including long-term substitute positions.
* Classified support positions at the building or district level.
* Certified staff in community colleges, area education agencies, higher education, and the Idaho State Department of Education.

NOTE: Any Third Party agency seeking to post a job vacancy must name the school district or educational organization.

(4) What if I have more than one job to post?

Simply hit your "Back" button on your Internet browser to take you back to the Information screen. You can modify existing information and resubmit it when changed!

(5) How long till my job gets posted?
Vacancy information will be updated (and deleted as needed/requested) within 5 days of your submission.

(6) Suppose I make an error or want to change my posting after it has been submitted?
You will see a Delete/Modify link on the Post a Job page. Simply indicate the changes you wish made using this email link.

(7) How do I delete a posting?
(a) When you type in vacancy information we encourage you to place an application deadline so we can pull the information off when that date occurs.

(b) All jobs will be deleted after 50 days unless contact is made to the site administrator via email indicating the desire for an extension.

(9) How does my district receive online applications?
Complete the form under the Participating District link off the Post Jobs page. This submission requests that a check box be placed next to your district or educational entity name on the application form. Potential employees can then select your district and submit an online job application from the site.

Applications will be sent to you via email in a printable text format. More information about utilizing this information will be available soon on the Participating District page.

(10) How can my district search for applicants to fill our positions?
A "Search Applicants" link is under development and should be available in 2004. Watch for more information!

Professional Registration System

(1) What is the Professional Registration System?
The Professional Registration System allows potential applicants to submit relevant information about what type of job they are seeking to the Idaho Educational Employment Website. When new jobs get posted, people in the database will automatically receive them via email. It allows the IEEW to become a proactive resource.

(2) Is registration in the Personal Registration System required?
No! This is an optional service for applicants but one that we anticipate will be very popular. ALL information collected will be kept confidential unless express permission is given by those listed.

(3) What types of jobs are posted?

Online Applications

(1) How do I submit an online application?
Click  "Online Application" on the IEEW Home Page; which will take you to the application form. Select the district you wish to apply with; and complete the application. 

NOTE: If the district has their OWN online application, there will be a link available; if the district accepts IEEW online applications, there will be a box to check next to the district name.

(2) What happens after I hit the "submit" button?
The district you selected will receive a text file of your information and will contact you  if additional materials or information is required.

(3) How can I submit an application to more than one district?
Once you complete the application form and hit submit, click the "back" button on your browser and select another district, click "submit". Repeat as often as you like! DO NOT use the "Participating District" link; this form is used by the school district wishing to get the applications.
